Company Information
The company was originally formed by Ed and
Joyce Kroeker. The 40 plus years of hard work, honesty and dedication to
excellence has been the cornerstone for the company.
With one tractor and in time one truck,
Kroeker Custom Tractor (as it was known then) began building one of the
larger demolition and recycling companies in the Western United States.
As more and more customers realized the dedication and integrity that Ed
and Joyce brought to each project, the growth that is seen today was
ine
vitable. As they worked side by side for sometimes-endless hours,
they still found time to contribute to the community. They continue to
be involved in various charitable organizations and they have personally
helped many associates and employees improve their personal and
financial situations. In this area of California, and in the demolition
industry as well, the name Kroeker is synonymous with integrity, hard
work, and respect.
Their two children, Jeff and Jill, grew up with this strong foundation. Today, Jeff Kroeker controls the company. He has been actively involved in the business for over 30 years. During that time, he has done every job that exists in the demolition industry. He has been a laborer, a mechanic, a welder, he began driving semis and received all the endorsements. He has operated each of the company’s 300 plus pieces of equipment, and has supervised, estimated and invoiced projects throughout the years. This hands on approach extends into the local community to help many worthy causes personally and financially. His uncanny ability to envision new techniques and his attention to detail has helped to create a strong basis for continued growth.
As a member of the executive board for the National Demolition Association,
Jeff’s participation in the industry goes beyond a national scale.
Jill joined the company full time some 18 years ago and continues to support the Kroeker image. She oversees the company finances, and personally works with vendors and customers alike. With hundreds of vendors and even more customers, Jill somehow manages to keep track of each.
She has become a valuable part of the local community. She is Vice President of Construction Industry Crime Prevention for Central California, and she is on the board of Crime Stoppers. Jill devotes many hours to civic groups and is always ready to help the community and the business to grow. If something needs to be done either within or outside of the company, Jill will find a way to make it happen.
In 1998, the company had grown to the point that it needed additional management strength. Rodney Ainsworth accepted the challenge and has helped take the company to a whole new level. His impressive background in construction, his multiple awards for construction achievement, and his willingness to take on any task have manifested themselves in many ways. He is largely responsible for much of the organization, communication, and systems that are necessary to achieve success. Rodney accepts all challenges with the attitude that if it can be done, it can be done right. His influence in the company and in the industry as well reflects integrity, honesty and respect. His knowledge and personal drive have resulted in tremendous growth and success for Kroeker, Inc.
